How it all Started
Bookish Things By Tay began during a season of rediscovery. After becoming a mum and navigating the messy, beautiful chaos of postpartum life, I found myself searching for pieces of “me” again. Reading became my escape — a place where I could breathe, dream, and feel like myself. Creating became my healing.
What started as a small creative outlet slowly grew into this business. Every bookmark, charm, BDWAB bundle, and cosy accessory came from a place of passion and joy. Over time, I realised I wasn’t just making things — I was building a little bookish haven for others who love stories as much as I do.

Why Us?
My Process
My process is simple, intentional, and rooted in creativity. I handmake most of my products myself — from bookmarks and charms to BDWAB bundles and bookish accessories. I work in small batches to keep everything unique and high‑quality.
For items I don’t make by hand, like pins, I source them carefully to ensure they match my brand’s aesthetic and values. Every order is packed by me with love, care, and a sprinkle of bookish magic.

To create cosy, magical bookish products that make readers feel inspired, comforted, and excited to dive into their next story.
My Vision
To grow a warm, welcoming brand that celebrates creativity, reading, and the joy of handmade items — while staying true to who I am as a small, mum‑run business. I want to continue expanding my range, connecting with fellow book lovers, and building a space where every order feels special.
