Hi there, Bookish Besties - I’m Tay!

If we haven’t met yet, I’m the book obsessed, iced latte fueled, craft loving mum behind Bookish Things By Tay. I’ve always had a loud, unapologetic passion for reading and all things bookish. But after having my baby, I found myself craving a way to reconnect with me again - the creative me, the reader me, the girl who finds magic in stories and tiny handmade details.

So, I created Bookish Things By Tay.

Back in early 2023, when I first started researching the bookish accessory space, I realised something: there weren’t many Aussie brands creating curated, handmade bookish goodies for readers like us. And honestly? That lit a fire in me. I’ve always loved crafting, designing, and making things with intention, and pairing that with my love for books just felt… right. Like it was meant to bloom.

What started as a small creative outlet quickly grew into this cosy little corner of the bookish world - a place where I get to make special, thoughtfully curated accessories for readers who want their reading time to feel magical.

And between us? I have so much planned for the year ahead. New products, new bundles, new ideas I’ve already started working on but haven’t shared yet. I can’t wait to bring them to life and share them with you.
